About hemostasis

What is hemostasis?

Normally, the hemostasis system is a self-regulating process of balance between coagulation factors and the anticoagulant system.

It is a unique system that keeps the blood in a liquid state and, when necessary, promotes clot formation and stops bleeding. In hemostasis take three main components: the wall of the vessel, blood cells and plasma factors: coagulation, anti-coagulation system, klikrein-kinin and fibrinolytic systems.
