Who we are?

About us

Our found is the fist non-commercial platform in Ukraine for the diagnosis of hemostasis disorders and creation of single registry of patients with bleeding disorders and thrombosis. We are located on the territory of the State institution “National Research center for Radiation Medicine of NAMS of Ukraine”

Building on its experience and given the opportunity to be fully up to date in hematological science we decided to create organization that can realize development requirements in hemostasis and bleeding disorders. This foundation was created by hematologists for the patients living with hemostasis disorders.

Charity organization: charitable fund for patients with hemostasis disorders and hematological diseases – is a charitable organization that promotes the development of counselling and diagnostic framework for patients living with hemostasis disorders and hematological diseases.

Head of the Foundation

Iryna Serhiivna Dyagil, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Member of the European and American Associations of Hematologists, Honored Doctor of Ukraine.

Head of the Department of Radiation Oncohematology and Stem Cell Transplantation, Department of Hematology and Transplantation, Institute of Clinical Radiology, National Scientific Center of Radiation Medicine of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. Serhiyivna Iran began her career in 1972 as a therapist at the “Sonyachne Zakarpattia” sanatorium. From 1974 to 1980, he was a district doctor of Polyclinic No. 2 of the Hospital for Scientists of the Academy of Sciences of the Ukrainian SSR (Kyiv). During 1980-1982, she completed a clinical residency in hematology at the Kyiv Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. Later, she worked as a junior and senior employee of this institute.

Iryna Serhiyivna has been working at the “NNCRM of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine” since 1992: first as a senior researcher, then as a leading researcher, and since 2010 as the head of the Department of Radiation Oncohematology and Stem Cell Transplantation.

Iryna Serhiivna Dyagil is a highly qualified scientist, doctor, teacher with a wide range of scientific interests in the field of radiation medicine and oncohematology. In 2016, the only one from Ukraine received the “ELN Merit Award” ELNet for the integration of European research into the problem of chronic myeloid leukemia. He is a member of the Scientific Council of the IKR of the National Institute of Medical Research of Ukraine, the Expert Commission “Hematology and Transfusion” of the Ministry of Health and the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, the Central Interdepartmental Expert Council on Establishing the Causal Relationship of Diseases, Disability and Death with the Effect of Ionizing Radiation and Other Harmful Factors Due to the Accident at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant, the Specialized Scientific Council on the Specialty “Radiobiology”, the Working Group on Hematology of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, the European Leukemia Network (ELNet) on issues diagnosis and treatment of CML.

Author of more than 239 scientific publications on various issues of hematology, radiation medicine and radiobiology.
